El tapatío debutó a los 19 años en el futbol
CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.- Pese a que juega en uno de los equipos más odiados del futbol mexicano como lo es el América, la calidad bajo los tres palos, así como su personalidad fuera de la cancha, han convertido a Guillermo Ochoa en el jugador más carismático del balompié nacional.
Varios son los factores que se han combinado para que este elemento sea uno de los jugadores más seguidos por parte de la afición, tanto del América como de la selección mexicana.
Además, jugadores capaces de triunfar en uno de los clubes más grandes, y mucho menos hacerlo antes de cumplir los 20 años de edad, son pocos.
Ochoa, oriundo de Guadalajara, Jalisco, debutó a los 19 años, el 15 de febrero de 2004, al ocupar el sitio de un lesionado Adolfo Ríos, en el duelo que América, quien en ese momento era dirigido por el holandés Leo Benhakker, venció 3-2 a Monterrey.
A partir de ese momento el crecimiento de este joven fue vertiginoso, ya que supo sobreponerse al desprecio del estratega argentino Oscar Ruggeri hacia su capacidad y ganarse la titularidad por encima del guardameta pampero Sebastián Saja.
Con el paso de los partidos destacó por sus cualidades y por ser pieza fundamental en su equipo, con el que alzó el título del Torneo Clausura 2005, solo dos años después de su debut, y año y medio de su consolidación en la meta.
Además de esto y de su gran carisma tanto con hombres, pero principalmente con mujeres, tuvo una relación con la actriz y cantante Dulce María, una combinación que reunió a la más importante estrella deportiva juvenil con una de las más destacadas en el mundo de la farándula.
Ya con una experiencia mundialista, en Alemania 2006, Ochoa ha seguido un camino de crecimiento profesional y en su imagen, ya que es uno de los futbolistas más buscados por diversos productos para publicitarlos.
Además, no solo los medios especializados en deportes siguen sus pasos, por supuestos las revistas del "corazón" y de "chismes" siempre están pendientes de lo que ocurra con él.
Una muestra de su popularidad es que hace apenas algunas semanas ocupaba el lugar 12 en la votación del Jugador más Popular realizada por la Federación Internacional de Historia y Estadística de Futbol (IFFHS).
Ochoa, guardando las proporciones, vive una historia similar a la de Jorge Campos, quien la década de los 90 fue el elemento más mediático de aquella selección, no sólo por su labor en el campo, sino también por todo el entorno que tenía.
Con 23 años de edad, Ochoa se perfila como el futuro gran ídolo de futbol mexicano, en espera que su destino en la cancha, y por supuesto fuera de ella, esté lleno de éxito.

Russia's Sharapova to return at Hong Kong expo tournament
MOSCOW, November 28 (RIA Novosti) (http://en.rian.ru/sports/) - Russia's former world No.1 Maria Sharapova will join two other Russian tennis players to play in an exhibition tournament in Hong Kong on January 7-10.

The 21-year-old tennis player withdrew from the WTA Rogers Cup in Montreal in late July because of a shoulder injury.

The injury forced Sharapova, who began the year by winning the 2008 Australian Open, to miss the U.S. Open, the 2008 Beijing Olympics and other major tennis events.
This year the annual exhibition event is to be held in a team format bringing world tennis stars together and dividing them into four teams representing Russia, Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific. 
World No. 1 Jelena Jankovic of Serbia will lead the team from Europe along with Agnes Szavay of Hungary and Portugal's Michelle Larcher De Brito, while this year's Wimbledon Champion Venus Williams of the U.S. will head the team from the Americas, which also includes Gisela Dulko of Argentina and Coco Vandeweghe of the United States, the 2008 U.S. Open junior champion.
China's Zheng Jie, the 2008 Wimbledon semifinalist, together with India's No.1 Sania Mirza and Zhang Ling of Hong Kong will be playing for the Asia Pacific team.
The tournament will start with semifinal games consisting of two singles and one doubles match, the Russian team will take on Asia Pacific, while the Americas will compete against Europe.

The magazine includes also an interview with Anna Netrebko in which she talks about her plans for the upcoming years.
Netrebko would like to give priority to family life, her son Tiago Arua and her fiance and father of her son Erwin Schrott, and during the early years their son probably will travel with them.
Later on, when Tiago Aruä will start to go to the school, they will have to decide in which country they would like to live. Austria, where they live now is a fantastic option, but Spain also has a good chance.
